David F. Mayo, P.E.

David Mayo has over 10 years of construction industry experience as a builder, general contractor, and civil engineer. Being passionate about incorporating his personal values into his work led him to follow his dream of opening his own company, Providence Custom Homes of WNC, Inc. David works diligently to ensure client satisfaction throughout the entire home building experience. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, holds a general contractors license, and currently serves as first-vice president of the Hendersonville Home Builders Association. He is also a member of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Jimmy Penland

Jimmy Penland serves as a Construction Manager for Providence Custom Homes, overseeing all aspects of construction and working closely with clients throughout their home building process. Jimmy has worked in the construction field for over five years and contributes extraordinary skills in organization, supervision, and attention to quality and detail. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Brook C. Mayo

Brook Mayo has over six years experience in residential construction and real estate, with a primary focus in customer service and office and administrative support. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a North Carolina Real Estate Brokers License. Brook and David have two sons, Wilson and Wesley.

Andy Owensby

Andy enjoys working in the support functions of the company, both in the office and as needed in the field. She loves getting to know the customers and helping to facilitate their selections process as well as the ever important communications that are so necessary for a satisfying home-building experience.Andy is a native of the Henderson County area. She has over 5 years experience in the construction industry with her primary focus being customer service and quality improvement. Prior to that she worked over 30 years in nursing & nursing management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She earned her nursing degree at Asheville-Biltmore College and Memorial Mission Hospital, and has had multiple trainings in management, quality improvement, facilitation and customer service.
